These terms cover your use of loopandlink.app and the Loop and Link app, both operated by Literary Genius Academy, LLC. Using the app means you accept them.
Who may use it
The app is made for children, but the agreement is with you, the adult. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian has to agree to these terms on your behalf. If you are buying, you confirm you are 18 or older and are authorised to use the payment method.
What you get
Level 1 is free to use with no account and no payment. Purchasing Loop and Link grants your household a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the full curriculum. One purchase covers the children in your family. It does not cover a classroom, a school, a tutoring business, or any other group beyond your own household.
Price and payment
Loop and Link is a one-time purchase of $29.99 US. It is not a subscription: there is no renewal, and you will not be charged again. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details. Prices may change for future purchasers, which never affects a purchase you have already made.
Refunds
Email support@loopandlink.app within 30 days of your purchase and we will refund it in full. You do not need to give a reason. Refunds go back to the original payment method, and the licence ends when the refund is issued.
Acceptable use
- Do not resell, sublicense, rent, or share access outside your household.
- Do not copy, redistribute, or republish the lessons, letterforms, artwork, or copy.
- Do not attempt to bypass the paywall or interfere with how the app runs for anyone else.
- Do not use the app for anything unlawful.
We may end a licence that is being used in breach of these terms, and will refund a purchase we terminate for any reason other than a breach.
What we own
The curriculum, the letterforms, the software, the name Loop and Link, and everything on this site belong to Literary Genius Academy, LLC. Your child's own handwriting, obviously, belongs to your child; the app does not keep or transmit it.
Availability
We try to keep the app online and working, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Features may be added, changed, or retired. If we ever discontinue the app entirely, we will say so on this site with reasonable notice.
No educational guarantee
Loop and Link is a handwriting practice tool. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the Texas Education Agency, any school, or any school district, and it is not a substitute for instruction from your child's teacher. We do not promise a particular grade or outcome.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Literary Genius Academy, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law permits.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change, and material changes will be posted here before they take effect. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the updated terms.
